Our Technical Operations team will be rolling out the latest updates to our Mail Servers. This will ensure an ongoing smooth and highly secure email experience for web hosting customers. The scheduled maintenance window will impact the mail server configuration on the following servers:
NOTE: These changes may cause old, outdated, and insecure mail clients to stop working.
There will be a short downtime window of 10 minutes, affecting SSL connectivity for mail services (POP and IMAP). This will have zero impact to mail delivery (SMTP) both inbound and outbound. The updates only impact how your email software connects to your hosting. There is no possibility of your actual email files being affected.
All customers should be using the latest version of their preferred mail client to avoid any potential issues. Upgrading also provides enhanced security, improved software functionality and capability. We recommend checking to see if your email software has any available updates.
